Frosted static cling window film obscures the view by diffusing light through an etched-look surface while daylight still reaches the room. FancyFix frosted cling film is 0.20–0.24 mm without its liner, in shipping widths up to 120 cm, and carries printed patterns as well as plain frost, so one no-glue build covers the plain and the decorative ends of a privacy shelf. Static cling privacy window film is the volume end of the no-glue range, because a privacy problem is a year-round reason to buy.

Blackout, brushed & mirror
Blackout and mirror static cling films are the high-obscuration end of the no-glue range: opaque black and opaque white at 0.25 mm without liner, brushed black at 0.20 mm, and a mirror film carrying a protective PET layer on the face as well as the release liner on the back. Mirror film ships in widths up to 152 cm, wider than the rest of the cling range.

Solar control static cling film rejects up to 79–82% of solar heat depending on the SKU and cuts glare by 13–22%, with visible light reflectance running from 16.67% to 49.96% across the four stock shades. Solar cling film is 0.16 mm without its liner against 0.07 mm for the adhesive equivalent — a no-glue build carries the cling itself, so it is the thicker film.

Decorative — four processes
Decorative static cling film is made four ways at FancyFix: embossed textures rolled into the film surface, finer 3D-refraction textures that make the panel shine as light moves, colour printing for volume ranges, and a painted process that runs from a single roll for small-batch testing. Embossed, refraction, and printed cling films are 0.18–0.25 mm with liner; painted film is 0.3–0.5 mm.

The three routes below differ by who originates the design and who ends up owning it — all three run on the same static cling base films. Existing embossed and refraction textures need no tooling; a new texture means cutting a new embossing roller, which is a tooling step to plan for.

The film ships with a release liner that is peeled off at the window, and wetting the glass lets the panel be slid into position before it settles. Because nothing is bonding chemically to the pane, the film can be lifted and re-set during application, and taken down afterwards without leaving residue behind.
Yes. Static cling window film can be removed and reapplied, because the film grips by static surface contact rather than by a glue that cures onto the glass. Reuse depends on the cling face staying clean and flat — dust picked up off a worktop and creases from folding are what stop a panel lying down again. FancyFix supplies every cling line with a release liner, so a removed panel has something to be rolled against and stored with.

No. Retail listings use peel and stick window film for both builds, but the two behave differently on the glass: a static cling film peels off a release liner and holds by surface contact with no glue, while an adhesive peel-and-stick film has a glue layer that bonds to the pane. FancyFix states the adhesion type on the pack for that reason — a shopper expecting to lift and re-set a panel will return an adhesive film that will not come back off.
Yes. FancyFix cuts static cling film to a specified pack size for retail and supplies the same film on large rolls with a 3-inch core for project and trade supply. Regular shipping widths are 45, 60, 90, and 120 cm, with stock lengths of 150, 200, and 300 cm on most lines. Both formats can be packed under your own brand — retail rolls in an inner box and carton, project rolls in kraft packaging on a pallet.
Static cling needs clean, smooth, flat glass to hold, so textured or patterned panes, sandblasted surfaces, and heavily curved glazing sit outside what a cling build stays on. Where the glazing is not smooth, the same FancyFix design can be supplied on an adhesive base film, which conforms to the surface and holds mechanically instead. Naming the glass type in an RFQ is what decides the base film, and it is the cheapest question to answer early.
