Channel Policy

Our channel policy

A design made for a partner stays exclusive to that partner — never resold, never on our own shelf, never handed to a competitor.

FancyFix's channel policy: a design created for a partner is exclusive to that partner and never appears on FancyFix's own storefronts, nor is it resold to a third party. FancyFix runs its own DTC brand as a listening post to read what sells — not to compete with partners on their designs or in their territory.

Where we actually stand

You'll find FancyFix on Amazon and at fancyfix.shop. Any buyer worth their salt is going to ask what that means for their program. So here's where we actually stand — in writing, on a public page — instead of a reassuring sentence in an email.

In writing, before production — not promised on a call.

Rule 1

Designs drawn for you are yours

A pattern our studio draws for you under a bespoke agreement is exclusive to you. We don't resell it, we don't reissue it in a different colorway under another name, and it never appears in our own retail listings. That exclusivity is written into the agreement before production, not promised on a call.

Rule 2

Territory and channel terms go in writing

What we can protect, in which channels, and for how long depends on your market and your volume — so we settle the specifics with you directly, not on a public page. Ask at the quoting stage and we'll tell you what's possible for your territory.

The boundary

What this policy does not cover

Catalog patterns are not exclusive by default. Our open catalog is available to any partner, and some of it does appear in our own retail. If you need a catalog pattern locked down, that's a regional exclusive and it's a specific agreement — ask for it. The never-listed guarantee in Rule 1 applies to bespoke work.

We'd rather draw that line clearly than let you assume something we haven't promised.

FAQ

Channel policy — what partners ask.

No. A bespoke design is exclusive to you, in writing before production, and never appears in FancyFix's own retail listings.

Not by default — the open catalog is available to any partner, and some appears in our own retail; a catalog pattern can be locked as a regional exclusive by specific agreement.
