Background
In November 2023, we received an inquiry through Alibaba’s online TM from a Canadian customer of Chinese descent. They were interested in our starry sky solar film and requested a sample to evaluate its suitability for their automotive application
Client’s Challenge
- Modification Requirement: The customer loved the design but needed the adhesive on the opposite side of the film, which differed from our standard manufacturing process.
- Sample Approval: The client wanted to test the modified sample before placing a bulk order, but producing such a sample would incur significant costs, estimated at over 5000 RMB.
Our Solution
- Process Adjustment: After multiple discussions with our production team, we successfully adjusted the machine parameters to meet the customer’s requirement for the adhesive placement.
- Sample Production: To ensure the client’s satisfaction, we produced and shipped a 10-meter sample at our own expense. This allowed the client to test the installation and adhesive quality on automotive glass.
The Result
The client was impressed with our flexibility and willingness to accommodate their specific needs. After testing the sample, they were pleased with the results and placed an initial order of 2000 meters. Although this quantity was our minimum order size, it signified the client’s trust and satisfaction with our product.
